Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Yolla LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Zoogbase at zoogbase.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we think you should actually be able to read it.
What We Collect
Matchmaker account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address (used for magic-link login), your name, city, community focus, and years of experience. You may also optionally upload a profile photo.
Client profile data
Matchmakers enter client information into Zoogbase — names, contact details, demographic information, and personal notes. This data is entered by you, the matchmaker, on behalf of your clients. We store it securely so you can access it through the platform.
Usage data
We collect basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging purposes. We do not run third-party analytics trackers on the platform.
Payment information
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number — Stripe handles that directly and is PCI-compliant.
How We Store Your Data
Data is stored in Supabase, a managed Postgres database hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS). We use row-level security policies so that each matchmaker can only access their own data.
Client photos are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. Photos are not publicly accessible — all access is through time-limited presigned URLs generated at the time of viewing.
Who Owns Client Data
Client profile data entered by a matchmaker belongs to that matchmaker. We act as a data processor on your behalf — we store and retrieve data at your direction and do not use it for any other purpose.
Matchmakers are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate permission from their clients to store their information in a third-party platform.
We Never Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or your clients’ data with third parties for marketing or any commercial purpose. Full stop.
How We Use Data
We use the data we collect only to:
- Provide and improve the Zoogbase service
- Send transactional emails (magic links, intake form notifications, billing receipts)
- Diagnose bugs and maintain service reliability
- Comply with legal obligations
Data Sharing
We share data with a small number of service providers who help us operate the platform: Supabase (database), Cloudflare (storage), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email). Each of these providers processes data only as instructed by us and is bound by their own security and privacy commitments.
We may disclose data if required by law or in response to a valid legal process, and we will notify you where permitted.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your account data and all client data associated with it. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below or use the export and delete tools in your account settings.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will honor these rights on request.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons (such as billing records).
Cookies
Zoogbase uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
Children’s Privacy
Zoogbase is intended for professional use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
