We want you to feel confident trying Zoogbase. Here is exactly how billing and refunds work — no fine print.
Free Trial
Every new account starts with a 21-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. You get full access to all features on your plan during the trial period.
If you do not add a payment method, your account will simply stop accepting new data when the trial ends. Nothing is deleted automatically — your data stays intact if you decide to subscribe later.
First Charge
Your first charge happens when you enter a payment method and confirm a subscription. This can happen during the trial (to get it set up early) or when your trial expires and you choose to continue.
Refunds Within 7 Days
If you are not satisfied after your first payment, contact us within 7 days of that charge and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
To request a refund, email us at hello@zoogbase.com from the address on your account. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
No Refunds After 7 Days
After the 7-day window, all charges are final and non-refundable. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions. We do not prorate refunds for the unused portion of a billing period.
Cancel Anytime
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation is immediate and permanent — no waiting, no retention flows. Your account remains active through the end of your paid period, then switches to a read-only state.
Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are eligible for the same 7-day refund window after the first charge. After that, annual fees are non-refundable in whole or in part. If you cancel an annual plan mid-year, you retain access through the end of the paid year.
Exceptions
In exceptional circumstances — such as a billing error on our part or a significant service outage — we may issue refunds or credits outside the standard policy at our discretion. Contact us and we will do the right thing.
